Description
All day they unload 50kg bags, sometimes two at a time, to feed the masses in Myanmar's largest city. In this shot, I liked the juxtaposition of the heavy chains, as they seem to represent the burden of working and living hand to mouth. Additionally, the idea that they work carrying these heavy bags of rice, which essentially is the purpose of their labor; to afford a bowl of rice or two each day, along with perhaps a splash of curry.
